Construction activity at Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital has caused both of the customary entrances off of 16th street to be closed down. Presently, patients requiring an elevator to enter the Hospital need to be dropped off at the Emergency Room Entrance in the alley behind the Hospital. A handicap-accessible (ADA) elevator is located at this entrance. There are two, short-term handicap parking spaces available behind the hospital on days the Mobile Imaging trucks are not set up in the alley. Patients are encouraged to park on the South side of the hospital on Donelan Street if parking behind the hospital is unavailable.

Hospital patient parking is available on the East and West sides of 16th from the Temporary Hospital entrance in a southerly direction. Patient and Visitors may also park on Donelan Street between the Hospital and Parke Health Clinic

As a courtesy to our neighbor, Dr. Hoppe, the Hospital asks visitors and patients NOT TO PARK in the Medical Clinic parking lot. Please leave those spaces open for Medical Clinic patients.
